Critical Care

Emergency
The Grand Falls General Hospital Emergency Department comprises stretchers for resuscitation, observation, minor treatments, assessments and patient care. Clients visiting the Emergency Department are either stabilized, treated locally or transferred to a specialized centre depending on their condition.

Surgical and Ambulatory Care

Surgical Suite
Grand Falls General Hospital Surgical Suite attends to elective and some urgent cases classified under same day surgery (SDS) and day surgery (DS) in the following specialities: general surgery.

Ambulatory Care
This department provides patients and their families with various health services through specialized clinics. Services include diagnosis, treatment, teaching, and follow-up care. The Grand Falls General Hospital Ambulatory Care comprises 20 different clinics, several of which are provided by specialists from Edmundston who hold clinics in Grand Falls.

Multifunctional Unit

The Grand Falls General Hospital Multifunctional Unit offers primary nursing care and services to a diversified clientele. The unit comprises 20 beds distributed as follows: medical, obstetrics, and concentrated care. The following clients are served: medical, surgical, long-term care, palliative care, day care and pediatric.
